I just relocated to Salt Lake City from Philadelphia. One of the interesting
(to me) changes I've noticed is that out here in the West, they look at
project management as being more of a hands-on coding job. I'm used to working
as a manager, not a coder. And a fine one at that. This has slowed down my
finding projects a bit. 

I'm wondering. What is the perception of the list participants? Do you want
your project managers to be involved with the coding? Or do we cause enough
problems without messing with your area of expertise?
