Check Version always prompts you to update if the service pack on the host 
system doesn't match the level of the PC. It doesn't matter which is more 
current. You delete check version from your startup folder and all will be 
well. Just download the service packs off of the web site. Sounds like you're 
just a wee bit behind on your AS/400 PTFs too...
