As far as I know, PC5250 in CA95NT has no connection with VB scripts. To
make PC5250 macros, you must take the 'Assist' menu option, then
'Macro/Script Setup'. From the window that appears, click on the
'Customize' button. Now you have a window where you enter the 'APL 50' or
whatever code. In case you opened another macro, you should have done a
'File->Save As' first.

You could also take the 'Assist->Start Recording Macro...' option. After
you enter a name for the macro, just type 'APL 50' (no apostrophes). Then
take the 'Assist->Stop Recording Macro' option. Then edit the macro you
just created , as described above. You will need to remove the leading
quotation mark. Then exit from the editor and click on 'Yes' to save.
Finally, be sure to click 'Cancel', not 'OK'. Otherwise you set the default
macro to the one you just worked on.

I hope this answers your question. But if you have a need to do something
in connection with Visual Basic, then we get into a set of APIs that are a
part of PC5250. If that is what you need, please describe more what you
need to do.
