I would suggest you:
a) Make sure you have installed the (no charge since V3R2) optional
Object Connect piece of OS/400 (Part 22)
b) Use the neat new SAVRST* commands - for this situation probably
SAVRSTOBJ.

This should be less steps than SNADS (where you would need multiple
steps like SNDNETF, SBMNETJOB to run the RCVNETF job and whatever at the
remote machine), easier than FTP (especially if you only have SNA
connections), and faster than DDM, and shouldn't require any user
written comm programs.
