I don't seem to have the same problem..... we use FDDI to network our as400's (200-Dev(v3r2), 310-Prod1(v3r2), 510-Prod2(v3r7)). If anything, our 510 is the under-performer in the bunch. I tend to think that we need more memory. Whoa! Just looked at WRKSYSSTS. *INTERACT (pool 4) is showing DB fault/pages at 25.8/79.4....... oops. Sorry, lost my thread for a moment.... I can't imagine why <page up> should be a problem. I wonder if it's related to sequential vs random access. Sorry I can't help... Also a lot faster than SNADS. <<snip>> This raises a curious question that I had just the other day. We have DDM running between both a 530 (V3R7) and a 310 (V3R2) as well as between a 320 (V3R2) and the same 310. When you perform DSPPFM on these, both <PAGE DOWN> and B (bottom) absolutely _scream_ performance-wise. Yet, once at the bottom, <PAGE UP> is slower than a B10 with one drive, 8 meg of memory, and 100 attached devices. Why is <PAGE UP> so much slower than <PAGE DOWN>? Just Curious...
