Phani,

Why don't you just do a CHGJOB OUTQ(MyNewOutq)?

This way the outq for the current job is changed right then and
there...and the users default outq is not changed. And any jobs
you submit for the job by default use the current outq.

Bob

Subject: changing user profile in the program

     Hi,

I want to change the OUTQ parameter of a user profile
within the
program. I can just do chgusrprf in the pgm, but how will I
make this
to take effect b'cos for the change to happen user has to
sign off and
     sign on again.

Basically, I just want to change the outq of a profile and
send spool
files to it within the program. I don't care what the
previous value
     was there for outq.

     Best regards,
     Phani
