If the change is not permanent, just use
CHGJOB OUTQ(*LIBL/<outq>)
If the change is to be permanent, then change the user profile then
issue the change job to apply the change to the current job.

Hi,
I want to change the OUTQ parameter of a user profile within the
program. I can just do chgusrprf in the pgm, but how will I make this
to take effect b'cos for the change to happen user has to sign off and
sign on again.
Basically, I just want to change the outq of a profile and send spool
files to it within the program. I don't care what the previous value
was there for outq.
Best regards,
Phani
