Unfortunately my AS/400 does not have a CD-ROM for the CD installation.  I 
could of course install
the product on the PC from the CD but the other side has to be on the AS/400 
for STRCODE to work
and tapes it is.   After applying SF46950 (you should not apply this if you use 
OS/2), the STRCODE
problem went away.

I can now edit the code.  The compile  on the host freezes the pc and the Code 
debugger wont
start...  it talks of "connection to host ... refused".  Well the guys at 
Code-400 list should be
able to help... I downloaded and applied the latest service pack 002 from their 
website (about
20MB).

Getting there but not just quite there...
