CA does _not_ need a router. Native TCP/IP works _w_o_n_d_e_r_f_u_l_l_y_,
IMHO. Printing is the main caveat--PC5250 (the bundled emulation) does not
allow a printer session when using TCP/IP, since it's based on TELNET.
There are various remedies - (1) Use NSRouter with AnyNet-not very good,
IMO (2) Put an LPD (line print daemon - server) on the PC (3) print to a
network-attached printer.

The latter 2 options use the LPR facility of TCP/IP-native on AS/400.

There seem to be changes at IBM regarding LPR printing--no PAGERANGE, etc.
All this seems to be inspired by NetPC's.

I recommend avoiding APPC router connections, if possible. TCP/IP is
___SSSOOO___ simple to set up, it's mature (20+ years old), it's universal.
