However you should try this command in a test environment first for the time it takes. It just doesn't go Puff and its done. I believe it does the build of a new file first and then puts the data in and logicals over it then deletes the old and then renames the new. At least that's what it acts like. You still have to recompile all your programs for level checks. It just saves the DLT;lf Rename/CRT/COPY and Recreation of the LF's. Its very nice. But don't think a million record file with 20 LF's is going to be converted in 10 seconds.
