I think the site would be real nice for sharing programs. I don't know if an FTP site would do the trick, but I would definitly think that it would be useful for uploading and downloading programs. The archive feature of this mail list can be very useful at times. I don't have a strong feeling for technical vs non-technical- between this and e:info, many of my questions can be given some answers.
