Eric,
It can cause job conflicts, deadly embraces, abnormal job terminations,
full system restores, an increase in gasoline prices, and plunge the
economy into a double-dip recession.....
Seriously, you must be VEEEERRRRYYYY careful when doing that. The first
three things I listed are quite possible (likely, in fact), and MAPICS will
tell you to do a restore, depending on what blows up.
I do it (occasionally), but I am very, very familiar with the conflicts. I
definitely do NOT recommend it.

To the list,
Is there ever a problem moving (by using CHGJOB) a MAPICS job from one job
queue to another queue? Someone told me once that this is not a good
practice. Any thoughts...
Eric
