Ann, I have taken it one step further on AS400's where MAPICS was not the only "package" competing for QBATCH jobqs. I have created a MAPICS subsystem with 6 jobqs (plus the MAPICS one) and have changed the few job descriptions to point to them. Works like a charm except when creating a new environment. Eric P.S. Would it be nice if this was a "tailorable" function during initial install or environment creation? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ann Neal" <aneal@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "MAPICS ERP System Discussion" <mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 1:57 PM Subject: RE: Moving jobs from JQ to JQ > OOPS, that is menu AMZM36 option 1... > > -----Original Message----- > From: mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Ann Neal > Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 3:43 PM > To: MAPICS ERP System Discussion > Subject: RE: Moving jobs from JQ to JQ > > > Eric, > > If you take menu AMZM35 option 1... do you have 6 different jobqs set up? > This is the only way to really breakup MAPICS jobs to different jobqs. > > Ann Neal > LeTourneau, Inc. > > -----Original Message----- > From: mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Eric Wolf > Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 11:14 AM > To: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Moving jobs from JQ to JQ > > > To the list, > Is there ever a problem moving (by using CHGJOB) a MAPICS job from one job > queue to another queue?
