Konrad, Yeh, yeh, yeh - rub it in, why don't cha! BTW, we have all our printer output go to a queue with no printer attached. My users only print what is needed (saves a few zill-i-on trees that way!). Trying to trap printer output is a real challenge. To make sure the system is still running and to have something to watch we kick off a few MRP runs. j/k of course :) Seriously if you do have any long running reports that you want to run outside the MAPICS job control system find the CL that runs the job and strip out the AMZ activity to the JOBACT file. Then you can run them anywhere you want. Otherwise be very careful. Note that the Synon apps pretty much have their own control system so they are less sensitive.
