We also use NGS's IQ product.  We find it to be an excellent addition to
Query/400.  We generally use Query/400 for quick reports, but we like the
significant enhancements added to NGS-IQ with total-time calculations and
date handling, plus others.  It isn't that expensive, and is very
effective.

However, my affiliate keeps after me to work with IWP, which we bought but
haven't started using yet.  They claim that IWP is also a very effective
tool, especially with COM.  I don't know that yet, but do plan on starting
to work with it fairly soon.
