I wanted to thank all of you who expressed your opinions regarding OLAP reporting tools for our ongoing MAPICS implementation, both on- and off-line. You helped make us aware of a few additional viable alternatives to what we were already considering; NGS-IQ in particular. One further question/comment for the list to ponder during your "leisure time." With the considerably more affordable tools like NGS-IQ or even MS SQL Server, has anyone ever tried setting up a repository of data cubes and/or data dictionaries that have been constructed by the various MAPICS users? It seems quite wasteful that we would individually reinvent the wheel, when trading (or, even selling!) such back and forth would benefit the entire MAPICS community. Thanks again for your help!
