Yes I did report it to MAPICS and the support person to respond to the call
would not admit that it was a problem.  So I had her pass it to someone else
that has yet to get in contact with me.  The support persons answer to the
"problem" was to assign each user a block of numbers that they could use.
Yeah great, but it does not stop it from happening again if the user keys in
the number wrong.

        I've never seen this, but our customer master is pretty static.
Have you
        reported this to MAPICS?  I would think that this is a problem that
they
        would want to fix.
