Hi James:

Well, I went through and cleaned things up. The only lib5250.so file I had
was in /usr/local/lib.

I removed anything I could find that had anything to do with tn5250,
lib5250, xt5250 etc....

I installed tn5250.0.17.4 and got it working. Then I tried to install the
latest version of x5250, but this time I get this error message:

configure: error: ** Unable to find 5250 libraries!

Here's what I have in /usr/local/lib:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 876846 Dec 19 16:01 lib5250.a
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 801 Dec 19 16:01 lib5250.la
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 12 Dec 19 16:01 lib5250.so -> lib5250.so.0
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 624420 Dec 19 16:01 lib5250.so.0

Thanks for now...

Fred
