I wish it were... I've tried twice to get to grips with it. One version is 
with 'swig' but I can't get it to work. The other is an unfinished attempt at 
exporting the 'C' procedures but I have no idea of how close it is to 
finishing. I can't remember how far I got with getting a connection but most 
things failed...

My initial interest was in having python doing things like showing the screens 
in SDL (e.g. enhanced buttons that visually respond to mouse clicks) or 
perhaps as a website CGI, simply because python is so easy to work with...
