Yes, you hit the nail on the head.  I just used the existing code for
Linux, and did not consider that it might be different under Windows.

Why does lp5250d need a different mapping than tn5250?  You lost me
here.   Why do you use the MS-DOS mappings with lp5250d?

I was thinking we'd just have it "automagically" know the difference
between Windows and Unix and use the appropriate map.  (then, of course,
add the maps to transmaps.h)  But, if we need different codepages for
lp5250d than tn5250, then you're right, we'll have to make it more
generalized...

Here's what I've figured out by looking at the output of "recode -l":

     875        windows-1253          Greek
     880        windows-1251          Cyrillic
     905        windows-1254          Turkey
    1026        windows-1254          Turkey

I'm not clear on those last two.  We were mapping 905 to Latin 3, and
1026 to Latin 5, but I don't know which one should be windows-1254, and/or
what we should do with the other.  Do we have any Turkish users who could
clarify that for me?

Also, I haven't encountered any problems with the current map for "Latin 1".
Has anyone else?   Is there a different mapping I should be using for
people in Germany, UK, etc?

Okay, I'll try to re-add that option as a config keyword.  Maybe I'll even
have time after work tonight.  (This should be relatively easy to do)
