Tomcat vs. Websphere (was: JAVA400-L Digest, Vol 4, Issue 224)

Good that Tomcat works on i-series. But, why would I use Tomcat when
Websphere comes with i-series? Websphere web-container should do all
that Tomcat does.

The only thing you are missing is a limited budget :)

Tomcat is a very good app server that doesn't cost a lot (that's not to
say it necessarily has a low TCO {ooh, I used a buzzword ... cross it
off your bingo card}).
