Just some days ago someone mentioned a Word2FO.xsl Stylesheet[1] from
Microsoft on the Apache FOP mailing list[2].
I haven't tried it (and it seems to have some limitations) but with this
you should be able transform your WordML-Dokument to xsl-fo and then
render it with Apache FOP to pdf.
