That's interesting.  Are you at V4R5?  My cume level is 2-3 months old, but
I have a current one on order.  However, I doubt that will fix it since even
if there is a PTF, it's probably not included in the cume package.  I might
try loading the group PTF for Java.  I have searched most of the PTF cover
letters, but haven't run across anything which sounds quite right.  Are you
able to start Qshell with a *USER class profile with no special authorities?
