You need to install AS3, and then apply the group PTF for AS3. You do not need to apply the group PTF for AS1. Beure to check the PTFs page for any additional PTFs recommended for AS3 (found towards the bottom of the PTF page specifcially for your OS/400 release and WebSphere release): http://www.iseries.ibm.com/products/websphere/services/service.htm Also, if you already have the group PTF for AS3, you may want to check when it was ordered and received. Depending on when, we may have released a newer group PTF version. Th elatest versions were made available around the end of November I believe. Standard Edition comes with the base OS, I believe. Am I correct in that? Now, since they've already applied the PTFs, will they have to install 5733-AS3 and then reapply the group PTFs? > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-java400-l@midrange.com > [mailto:owner-java400-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Kalman Shor > Sent: Thursday, January 25, 2001 6:07 PM > To: JAVA400-L@midrange.com > Subject: RE: WebSphere installed but no QEJB library on the 400 > > > QEJB library is loaded with 5733-AS3 (standard) or WA3 > (advanced), (which is > loaded from QSHELL or the JAVA command). > 5769-AS1 loads library QAPPSVR only. > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-java400-l@midrange.com > [mailto:owner-java400-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Joe Pluta > Sent: Thursday, January 25, 2001 6:11 PM > To: JAVA400-L@midrange.com > Subject: WebSphere installed but no QEJB library on the 400 > > > I have a client who has WebSphere Application Server (5769AS1) > installed on > a V4R4 machine, and all the group PTFs, but there is no QEJB > library.
