Also, I think I understand that QEJB is "not required". But, as you pointed out, I need the correct adminstration server running, and for me, that means starting the subsystem described by *SBSD QEJBSBS in QEJB. Anyway, it was the fact that this library was missing that clued me into the fact that my client wasn't installed correctly somehow. And of course, I'm heading off to teach class there Monday. This ought to be interesting <grin>.
