Do your classes have package statements in them? It would be the first non-comment line in the .java source file for the class. For example, something like package etbjava; If this is the case, you should be specifying export -s CLASSPATH=/QIBM/ProdData/HTTP/Public/jt400/lib/jt400.jar:/ for the classpath setting. Still no luck even with the use of the export command. Below is what I have used: export -s CLASSPATH=/QIBM/ProdData/HTTP/Public/jt400/lib/jt400.jar:/etbjava when I do a set here is what it is set at: CLASSPATH=/QIBM/ProdData/HTTP/Public/jt400/lib/jt400.jar:/etbjava HOME=/home/BUCKINGHAM IFS= JOBNAME=422663/BUCKINGHAM/QZSHSH LINENO=1 LOGNAME=BUCKINGHAM OPTIND=1 When I run the command this is what I get: java msgsendsample java msgsendsample java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: msgsendsample java/lang/Error.<init>(Ljava/lang/String;)V+1 (Error.java:53) I had tried all the different ways to set the CLASSPATH. None of them are picking up the class needed to run the program. Is there any other information or suggestions that I might try here? Thanks!
