You still may need to write some supporting stuff, like a bean that converts centigrade to fahrenheit and returns the value to a text bean, e.g. These calcs will look something like the freeform stuff in RPG IV. All the expected C-like operations are there, except for exponentiation (which is handled with a 'power' method)—like +, -, *, /, ++, --, +=, etc. A lot of my questions have been answered by looking at various things that IBM has on the Web. There's a set of very nice screen cams that go through using VA for Java. Get 'em at <http://www.software.ibm.com/ad/vajava/vajscdemo.html>. There's also an online Java course (free) that's quite nice. You can get to it at <http://www.ibm.com/Java/education/intro/>.
