So, Hak, what I'm hearing you say is ...
  The only way to change server properties is thru the Comm Console?

Why do I smell an uninstall and re-install in my near future?

The current design (or restriction ) for making any server properties
change on a Communication console is as follow.

- Select the 'Change' button on the server page.
- Select 'OK' button.
- Exit the CODE editor
- Exit the CPO
- Right click the Communication Daemon icon and select 'Close'
- 'Start->Programs->IBM WDT for iSeries->Communications->Communication
Daemon' to restart the daemon

Changing the Server information including, name, uid or pwd without closing
the daemon may result in inconsistent data being passed between the
internal CODE communications layers.
