I second and third this.  This is a great idea and extremely suitable for a
170/270.  This will also bring in more developers thus making the AS/400
platform as a solid alternate to the buggy NT.

Maybe IBM can kindly request the buyer from using it as a production machine and
prevent sales erosion from 7xx and 8xx series.   But IBM should refrain from
crippling the system because of the pricing.
