Has anyone heard about the various lawsuits against SSA for these practices.  I 
have heard rumors but would like to see if anyone knows anything in more detail.




There are multiple past post stories based on SSA practices which may have 
changed yet again.  Consider companies that are not on SSA Tech support, that 
just have the license to use BPCS.  Now they want to replace the box that BPCS 
runs on, and SSA wants to get them to return to OSG.  Allegedly, SSA sometimes 
used tactics at that point that persuade companies that it is time to leave 
BPCS entirely and try a different ERP vendor.

You should not get confused between OGS and your license. Unless your
contract is machine based there should not be a big financial burden to get
a key for the new machine. You do not need OGS for that although you might
have to push a bit harder.

If your contract is machine based than it is a different story since you are
than changing the 'usage' of your BPCS system.
