Yes, It will work if you make warehouse as &  locations non-nettable & 
non-allocateable', MRP will not take into consideration for calculations but 
please note that on hand will appear for this quantity.

Depending on the version of BPCS you are on. I don't know off the top of my 
head if 4.05CD. Try looking at making the warehouse & locations non-nettable &
