Clarification Genyphyr was talking all of tech support. Dean was talking just the OGS web site when he suggesting that access be more open. We believe our BPCS 405 CD is extremely stable, and tech support has risk of not being adequately staffed on the intricacies of the old versions, so we have dropped OGS ... some time in the distant future, some future manager might want us to migrate to V8 or V9 or whatever & I would expect that SSA might charge more for rejoining OGS than is the traditional renewal for people on board all along. I have not seen SSA do that, but I have seen other computer vendors do similar things. We have used SSA's conversion software from version to version. We ended up using something else to do the conversions, mainly because we were going from many environments in pre-facilities version to one environment with several facilities, but even so, SSA's conversion software is a great check list of most of the things that need to be done. I cannot imagine any company being able to work that product without OGS. MacWheel99@aol.com (Alister Wm Macintyre) (Al Mac)
