The information that you gave _IMPLIED_ "Gotcha's". Your phrase "look out
for" says that, if you do not, something with "get you", hence "Gotcha". I
know that we occasionally experience language difficulties on BPCS-L, and
I'll assume that this is one.

I've not had _any_ problems with "library parameters during object
installation and data conversion" since V5. Job descriptions, beyond the
logging level, have not _ever_ been a problem for me. I don't know what you
mean by "change NEWI program authority to adopt so that all users can get
in", but as one who has repeatedly busted SSA for lesser security offenses
than what I _THINK_ you're suggesting here, I don't think I like where this
is headed. I have no idea what you mean by "TCP/IP port restrictions and
availability", as there should be none if you are starting your system
properly for TCP/IP use. "BPCS message files missing messages" has only
bitten me once, and that was when _I_ failed to move the new versions after
installing a BMR. The data conversion reports have always been worthless for
anything but error reporting, so I'm not sure what you mean by "physical file
size!" here.

Well, the instructions _could_ use a little work, but they're not nearly as
bad as they were in ye olde V5 days. _I'm_ certainly not biased, although
SSA sometimes thinks I am (against them) ;)! This is _my_ point of view, and
I would certainly like some of those details you mentioned...

Regards!
