I have to go with Genephyr and Dean, I have installed v6 at various clients in versions from 6.0.01 to 6.1 and have never had any real problems. (well ok, in 6.0.04 you have to include the member in the Newi config file line and the documentation didn't say so). Basically when you put the beastie on; someone with sysop experience and local knowledge of the library and TCP/IP setups should do the work, or be available. If such a person is present the documentation is adequate. If such a person is not present then you shouldn't be doing the install. There are a large number of issues that can legitimately expressed about the performance, appearance, and ergonomics of client server BPCS.
