We moved to 6.1.01 in November of 2000 from 6.04 in a double byte Simplified
Chinese version. We have found the product to be better and more stable
with one exception... Promotion pricing has some real problems (at least in
the BMR bundle) We are having to run the PRO775 module from the 6.1 base
(and it meets most of our needs); in conjunction with promotions any return
with a promotion price does not work because of a hard error, and so we have
to enter them manually (which has really been a burden on our order
processing group). SSA Australia is being attentive and trying to get the
problems corrected by escalating the BMR's, but we are still waiting. This
gives you an idea of what we are experiencing.

Subject: 6.04 CS to 6.10.1 Conversion/Implementation

I am about to take the plunge and move from 6.04 CS to 6.10.1 and would like
to know if there are any nasties to look out for.

The shop is a small manufacturer/distributor running on an AS/400 R4V4.

We have had a number of issues with 6.04 and are looking for some stability
with 6.10.1 if possible.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Have a good one,

Norm
