We are on BPCS6.0.04 and have been using software from Digital Design, its
called Secure Document Print. A small program written in house takes the
print file and converts it to a db file that we transfer to the pc for
printing.

Look at their Web site.

Subject: Laser printing checks w/ BPCS

We are using V6.0.04 of BPCS with an upgrade to V6.1 scheduled this summer.

We are beginning the investigative process to determine if printing A/P
checks on a laser printer is worth pursuing. We are frustrated with the
time it takes checks to print on our current dot-matrix printer; we also
have an "ancient" check signing machine that needs weekly service calls to
keep it functioning. Ultimately, we would like to print and sign checks
simultaneously on a laser printer. We understand this may require the use
of a third-party software.

Issues:
Does BPCS support printing checks on a laser printer?
What is the process to get this set up?
Does BPCS support signing the checks as they print on a laser printer?
Has anybody implemented a third party software to sign the checks as they
are printed on a laser printer?
If so, does anybody use MHC Associates software?

I would appreciate any feedback from anybody that has had success (or
struggled) with this process. Thanks!
