Marie,

At least two of my clients have used a product called EZPrint/400 from
Formula One Systems (http://www.formone.com/frame_main.htm) with success. As
long as all the data you want to print is already in the spool file, EZ
Print will reformat the job to fit on your check form. Since it works with
the spool file, it should be BPCS version independant so upgrading to 6.1
will be a non issue. It can handle the signature issue.

If you need additional data that's not in the spool file to appear in the
check I believe that you will need to modify the program that creates the
spool file (making your 6.1 upgrade an issue) or try one of the other forms
tools that allow SQL access to additional data linked from a field on the
form. Using those tools keeps the mods outside of the BPCS source code. See
