Good point. I've seen the results of this in an environment where
transactions are not entered in a timely manner.

It creates a lot of noise in an environment where shipping transactions are
up to date but shop floor reporting is a day or more behind, or where shop
floor reporting is up to date but receiving transactions are a day or more
behind. Must get all reporting entered the day it happened if using cycle
counting.
