Warning ... we have people who select items for cycle counting, then they do not get the job done prior to end-of-month fiscal. As part of INV900, we are told if anyone was in the middle of cycle counting, and we close them out with a report that hopefully is delivered to the suspected culprits to let them know they have to start over in the next fiscal month, except that there is no link to WHO is doing WHICH cycle counting, and did not get done before end fiscal - we can only guess based on location & type of materials involved. We also have reports that tell us which items tend to have wrong inventory accuracy most often, so those items can get cycle counted more frequently than others. > From: gordon.coen@abbott.com (Coen,Gordon) > > I have been looking at the on-line documentation but it seems > to contradict itself. > Also the 'last cycle count date' field seems to be updated when the > worksheets are printed rather than at 'cycle count post'. Is this correct ? I suggest you check your Inventory Transaction Effects codes for what gets updated by whatever transaction you use to post your cycle counting ... INV355 I think & the file is ITE.
