We have used Optio for several years (although I thought the name used to be FormsExpress?) with BPCS (4.0.5, not CD), and think it's great.  We do "reformating" for lots of documents (including shop orders, invoices,  and acknowledgements), and have just started using the check printing capabilities, which looks really good.  Optio does seem to have a lot of really advanced features over what FormsExpress could do.   Only negative I can really think of was that the training cost seemed really steep, compared to a lot of other training we go to, although I think it was worth it to get the full value out of the product.   Not really sure where support comes from (I'm not our Optio expert), but we're in the Midwest and it's always seemed pretty good.

Subject: Optio formally known as XPoint

Anybody ever used a forms generation program known as Optio (formally known as XPoint) to create P.O.'s, Customer Invoices, Sales Order Acknowledgements, or A/P Checks? Is the program any good? Is it better than EZPrint? Likes/Dislikes? Do they have a support presence in the West?

Any feedback appreciated.
