Um, claiming something is sev1 when it is not really brings down the
questions as to
- Is the system that is down production?
- Extra extra details about the impact on your business
- ad nauseam
You practically have to claim that the system is supporting both rows of
life support machines and the power grid for the eastern seaboard.

I will say that nothing less than sev 1 will get any work done on the
weekends anymore.

There used to be a host of tricks one would do. My favorite was to open it
up on line and fill in all the details I could then call back to get an
update on the ticket. I would get a live transfer to the team directly
involved.
Now if you try that you have to listen to a lying recording (numerous
times) on how you'd get a faster response if you'd just do it all online.
And when you finally get a person gone are the days of live transfer.
The operator simply asks you for any updates and tells you that they'll
call you back when they're darn good and ready.

Don't Call Us, We'll Call You
