Why didn't you accept the license agreements BEFORE you started the
install? Like the infocenter tells you to?
"Performing initial upgrade or replacement tasks" includes "Required:
Accepting software agreements"
http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v6r1m0/topic/rzahc/rzahcrequiredtasks.htm
Also there's this little section in "Replacing software using the
automatic installation method" which states:
<snip>
Before you upgrade, it is required that you use the Prepare for Install
options to accept online software agreements for those licensed programs
(including Licensed Internal Code and the i5/OS operating system) that you
plan to install. If you are upgrading from V5R3 and have V5R3M0 Licensed
Internal Code installed, you must also allocate additional space for
Licensed Internal Code. These tasks are described in Required: Accepting
software agreements and Required (if upgrading from V5R3M0): Allocating
additional space for Licensed Internal Code.
If these steps are not completed, the upgrade will not be completed.
</snip>
Then later on you will also see a step 8
<snip>
If you did not do the required preparation tasks for accepting software
agreements or allocating additional space for Licensed Internal Code, you
will see error messages. You need to follow the instructions on the
display and then begin the installation again.
</snip>
Then there's this section called "Starting point for automatic
installation recovery". This has an interesting section which may apply
to you: "Message that indicates the Licensed Internal Code and operating
system software agreements have not been accepted.". It then outlines how
to continue.

Subject: IBM i V6R1 network install error message CPDB6D6
Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi all,
Yesturday I completed IBM i V6R1 network install using the 3 standart
images(I_BASE_01, B_29XX_01 and B_29XX_02).
LIC and OS were installed successfully but when I try to accept the
software agreement for the LIC and the OS I get message CPDB6D6 because it
seems that the agreement files are missing from the image or I don't know
what.
Any suggestions ?
Best Regards
Tsetso
