Seems to me IBM is telling us to have our console on the same network as the
server - as in an HMC.
IBM offers thin console to replace twinax console, and that has to be next
to the server - but thin console is an option, not a requirement..

Yeah, but it would be a little inconvenient if you have to hot-swap a drive.
Anybody know of any other reason why IBM keeps telling people to put the
console in the same room as the box?
