> c) Fast disk to disk backups (well, faster and cheaper than tape > libraries perhaps) This is what I would like to do: 1) Restrict the system 2) Back up the entire system (complete image) to another set of disk drives 3) Bring the system back from a restricted state 4) Transfer from this 2nd set of disk drives to tape Can this be done? Wouldn't this be a lot smaller restricted window than any tape backup? Would this be a lot more expensive than having 2 tape drives to duplicate tapes for offsite storage?
