Hey Mr. Gibbs - I think your listserver PC has somehow entered a time
warp !

S/34 !   Hey, what's wrong with that S/38 Model 8 in the next room ?

Maybe if you complain to IBM they'll put the S/34 manuals On-line with
the AS/400 ones !    :-)

I seriously doubt you are going to run a S/34 on 120v power.  I believe
it needed around 180v to 240v, and may have even had a three-phase
instead of single phase power supply (the S/38 was 3-phase).

OK - enough of the joking.  If you're looking for some specific S/34
information from the manuals I may be able to help if you send me
private e-mail with the details of what you need.  If you're looking to
get hold of my S/34 manuals, maybe I'll leave them to you in my will !
