This article, which I've posted before, has a very simple Apache config
that does not only static files, but CGI as well. Sounds like you just
want static, so ignore the CGI part and it's even more simple.

In this case spending a little time to learn to walk before trying to run
will pay off in the end.

If you want I can also put together an article on how to link an HTTP
instance to that config. I do all that by hand too. In fact, I found one

in the config the default will be to prohibit access to anything _except_
files in /www/zendphp7/htdocs and those would be reached via

Normally Zend sets up on a different port to the standard 80 but since you
haven't shown us the full config file ... the thing we really needed to see
- which is text and could just have been copied/pasted here is the result

earlier in the thread.
