FWIW there IS an effort underway that would consolidate much IBM i open source product information, links to helpful sites and projects under one roof. I am hopeful that there will be something of substance to get started with within a week or two.

Been waiting for years to get this going and it looks like all that behind the scenes works is beginning to pay off. Working on it...
