Aaron,

I've already chosen and installed a very good query and BI tool; DataQuant from IBM. However, unless I can use their dashboard development environment/function to call IBM i CMDs or invoke DB2 Query Manager queries, I'll have to build a web environment to allow users to access and use menu options for those things.

I'll look at what you sent anyway.

Thanks,

Dave

We're talking data warehouse.

With that said are you more looking for reporting software on steriods? If
so, you should take a look at PlanetJavaInc's WOW product which runs nicely
on the AS400. When I used it in the past it had excellent querying
capabilities, but in past conversations with the president (Paul Holm) I
believe they have added much more.

Walden,

While I'm not MS oriented, I do have to take into consideration the
development environment, tools, elapsed time to productivity with
environment/language. So, in this case I'd like to hear what people
think. At this point, Net.Data or PHP seem quicker but I have to consider
any down sides.

There won't be any RPG on the system to call. We're talking data
warehouse.

Thanks,

Dave
