Walden,

While I'm not MS oriented, I do have to take into consideration the development environment, tools, elapsed time to productivity with environment/language. So, in this case I'd like to hear what people think. At this point, Net.Data or PHP seem quicker but I have to consider any down sides.

There won't be any RPG on the system to call. We're talking data warehouse.

Thanks,

Dave

To me there are two obvious options for web application development,
Java and .Net. Both are capable of accessing back-end DB2 data, and you
can even call an RPG program if you'd like too. :) While I obviously
have a bent toward the MS land, I will admit both are perfectly capable
of doing anything you want and arguing which is "better" is a religious
argument at best.
