There's something to be said for setting a good example, rather than perpetuating the problem with expressions like "...features that kick the living crap out of.." Surely you have a more professional way of stating that opinion.

see if that person developing a medium app still uses the same
out-of-the-box features at that point or strayed away from them because they
could save more time by "spinning their own wool" for certain portions
(which is what I have done).

Again, all of the features I've shown prior to today are "out of the box" features that kick the living crap out of even Nathan's frameworks, much less vanilla RPG-CGI. Today was just another set of features that EGL/JSF does very well. Can you show us your version of the programs we did today so that we can look for "bummers" in your code?
